An inert material of mineral origin, Filter Sand is basically composed of Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). It’s the most widely used bed for water filtering in sand or multimedia filters. It is applied for high flow rates with sediment and particle removal.

Pre-Filter Sand has a granulometry of 1 to 4 mm.

APPLICATIONS

Used in multimedia or sand filters with continuous circulation or not, to remove sediments from cooling towers, fountains, pools or other open or pressurized systems.

Material is supplied in several different granulometries, according to project specification, palletized in 25kg bags or 1.000kg big bags.
