Anthracite Carbon is a filtering material of mineral origin, with high carbon content, completely free of clay and other impurities. It is insoluble in water and mechanically resistant to abrasion.

Since it has an absolutely neutral chemical structure, Activated Carbon does not interfere directly in the water properties (Alkalinity, hardness, pH), possessing excellent characteristics in the filtering and deodorization fields.

APPLICATIONS

It can be used with high filtration rates, generally twice as much as sand filters. Has a grater resistance to acids and bases. Increases the filtration careers, consequentially diminishing the monthly backwash water consumption. It produces superior quality water when compared to what is obtained with filters of only sand and pebbles, easily adaptable to pre-existing filtering systems.

Material is supplied in several different granulometries, according to project specification, palletized in 25kg bags or 1.000kg big bags.
